Visits for people with reduced mobility
The 3 museums of the abbey are barrier-free.
To access the museums located on the first and second floors, there is an elevator with the following dimensions: 1,10 m deep and 87 cm wide.
Those wishing to access the part of the temporary exhibition located on the second floor must use a lift. Our staff will put the lift into operation on request.
Public transport
Train to Trois-Ponts then bus 745, or train to Verviers then bus 294.
About the non-profit organisation ” Espaces, Tourisme et Culture ” (ET&C)
“ET&C” is the non-profit association that manages Stavelot Abbey and its site.
Its mission includes the reassignment and enhancement of the former Abbey for the common good: tourism, heritage and culture.
The exploitation, conservation, development and promotion of tourism and cultural development make the site and the listed buildings of the former Abbey an essential common property in Wallonia and abroad.
